Packaging Research Study
This was for a study I did regarding eBoy illustrations on a specific piece of packaging: Blind Boxes. It looked at whether this particular style of illustration combined with Blind Boxed packaging could contribute positively to the customers overall experience of the product and in turn the brand.
If you are not familiar with Blind Box packaging (typically used to package Designer Toys), it’s a piece of packaging where the product is packaged and concealed, meaning the contents of the box are hidden from view before purchasing.
My study used the Blind Box concept to package limited edition Supra shoes. The results were a little inconclusive regarding the illustration x Blind Box concept, however the general consensus was that packaging was very important to the consumer in regards to their experience of the brand.
